3) Anthony Latella – District Govenor

“Night at the Races” at Pegasus Sat. February 28 - $65 per person

chapter inducted 20 new members
c) District 4 now has 500 members

will have wrestling at Bloomfield HS on Sat. 2/21, donated $5000 to President’s Fund

meeting held 2/17 & discussed fund raising ideas for District 4

District 4 Bowl-a-thon to be held at Van Houten Lanes

a) CG Chapter holding Super 50/50 Raffle, with 1 grand prize of $10,000 to be awarded on 6/10/09 at Scholarship
Awards dinner – tickets are $100 each – Sold about 60 tickets
b) “Night
at the Races” at Pegasus at the Meadowlands to be held Sat. February 28 – see Anthony Latella to attend
c) St. Joseph’s Breakfast held Sat. 3/21 at St. Catherine’s after 8:30am mass for deceased Unicans
d) CG Unico Golf Outing tentatively scheduled for Thurs. 6/11/09 at Knoll CC in Parsippany – Greg Salerno will follow

e) Pasta Night scheduled for Fri. 3/20 at St. Catherine’s – Adults $8

f) Scholarships – Deadline for applicants is 4/3/09 – all applications

g) Easter Egg Hunt at community park on 4/10/09 at 10 am – see Francine Faieta for details
h) CG Chapter buying banners to promote organization at events easier

Ø Montclair State University had Italian studies seminar on 2/18 – MSU has
500 students in Italian Studies Special Presentation

Ben McHugh, Lance Corporal, United States Marine Corps,
and Cedar Grove resident, gave a talk of his experiences of his enlistment and the honor of serving his country and protecting
our freedom

Ø Neil Gerard recuperating after breaking his back, is doing much better
Ø Ray Testa will now chair Good & Welfare
